Summary

Whether it's management, collaboration or just hanging out, there are some core ideas that I use to guide my interactions with other people. Nothing earth-shattering here, just some stuff that seems to help.

• It's better to be helpful than to be "right".
• It's better to provide a working solution than the most correct theory.
• Communication is all about understanding the other person, then, if it helps, being understood.
• It doesn't matter what you value about yourself, it only matters what the other person values about you.
